The collection includes every type of furniture designed and/or produced in Switzerland from the 15th to the 21st century. It is the largest public furniture collection in Switzerland.
A wide range of period rooms and individual structural elements dating from the 15th to the 17th century. Some rooms are reconstructed inside the Museum.
The collection includes papers printed to imitate wood grain (‘Fladerpapiere’ in German), panorama wallpaper with Swiss motifs, the wallpaper collection from the Château de Prangins, and some contemporary creations.
